Prosecco
You have undoubtedly heard of Prosecco, the lovely fruity, soft semi-sparkling aperitif from Italy. Prosecco is named after the endemic grape of which this wine is made of. Also known as 'glera'. The Prosecco is produced in the Veneto province in Italy. The grape 'glera' is often used to make semi-sparkling wine, which are usually dry or semi-dry. The wine is referred to as: Prosecco, Vino Frizzante or Spumante.
