Drinking suggestions

The Prosecco is an ideal aperitif wine. Prosecco is best served cool; at a temperature between 6 and 8 degrees. Due to the semi-sparkling characteristics and the pleasant acidity content, the wine will stir the appetite. Furthermore Prosecco is a perfect companion for starters, such as a summer salad with pasta and smoked fish or white meat. The power of the Prosecco is not related to the wine characteristics but perhaps much more with the region's tradition and lifestyle, where Prosecco is served at social events. In Italy Prosecco is consumed in a similar manner as the Germans and Irish drink beer.
